Finding the Heart of it All/The Greens of Spring

I have been out in the market looking at LACE, one of my favorite things ( I've been collecting lace bits for years). I can see the influences from vintage lace pieces modernized into current trends; more elegantly fitted, sophisticated and simple shapes, and softly romantic, drapey and feminine looks. I'm happy to report that the trend continues even stronger this season, evolving into many brands and many translations, from touches on a hem or sleeve, to cut-outs and inserts, to all lace dresses, and even into accessories...

    Now how DO you accessorize?

My preference is when a dress has a bohemian mix, with crocheted lace patterns and prints, I like to add a bolder, chunkier necklace for contrast. When you are wearing a more romantic, feminine look with sheer chiffon, cut-outs, inserts, and delicate lace patterns ( Free People captured this look), add a "bib-style" delicate, filigree and flower necklace. Or layering 2 or 3 necklaces (promoted by Anthropologie). Do this well with Restored by Design when completing your look!
