    Friday, June 20 marked the 'Child and Family' fundraising event in Newport, RI, at the 'Belle Mer' - wow! A successful fashion show by StyleWeek Northeast showing 6 of RI best designers, and Restored by Design had a table presentation- all around excellence! Love this event, it is so well done, and well attended! I sold some of my best signature pieces as well!

  • Finding Boho Chic Style

    I like to define my style as feminine, rustic, romantic, and modern - definitely boho-chic...

    Boho chic style is about mixing your way...flower prints, Lace, 'ethnic' patterns, and hints of vintage, but modern shapes, fabrics, and proportions to stay fashionable, in style. Wearing them, in your own unique way with the pieces you love! I think femininity is an important part of who we are, and a bit quirky too. Being creative and artistic about putting it all together is the fun of it all!

  • Crazy ideas

    As a designer, my brain is always in creative mode, the littlest things can inspire me, trigger an idea.

    Once in "the zone", it is often hard to pull out, until I can finish a thought, or see it come into its own form/finished look. Part of my exhilaration is seeing where this journey will take me, often lots of decisions along the way - shall I be conservative? Shall I keep it simple or crazy? What will sell vs. make that "perfect piece" vs. fit in to my boho chic brand...similar decisions I have always made...
